I. Information We Collect
1. Account Information
- Email Address: Used for account authentication, notifications, and support.
- Name: Your display name within the app.
- Password: Securely hashed; we never store plain-text passwords.
- Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe or App Store platforms. We only store a tokenized reference.
- Age Confirmation: You confirm you are 13 years of age or older upon registration.
2. Athlete Profile Data
- Athlete Name: Used to label and organize training sessions.
- Date of Birth (Optional): Used to determine age-appropriate analysis.
- Sport & Position: Calibration for sport-specific metrics.
- Skill Level: Used to tailor AI feedback.
3. Video & Performance Data
This is the core of our Service. We collect and process:
- Video Files: Performance footage uploaded for analysis.
- Extracted Frames: Images extracted for AI processing.
- Skeletal Keypoint Data: Motion coordinates tracking body position. This is NOT used for facial identification.
- AI-Generated Metrics: Scores, badges, and feedback produced by our engine.
4. Device & Usage Data
- Technical Info: Device type, OS, and IP address for security and fraud prevention.
- Usage Analytics: Pattern tracking to improve the user experience.
II. How We Use Your Information
5. Primary Uses
- Provide Service: Generate analysis and track athlete progress.
- Account Management: Subscriptions and payment processing.
- Communication: Transactional receipts and critical security updates.
6. AI Model Training
- Anonymized Data: We use de-identified skeletal patterns to improve accuracy.
- No Facial ID: We do NOT use faces or personal info for training.
- Opt-Out: Contact support to opt-out of anonymized training data.
III. Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) Consent
7. Your Consent to Video Analysis
By using Pro Skill Build, you provide express informed consent under the VPPA (18 U.S.C. ยง 2710) for the processing of your athletic recordings.
- Voluntary Upload: All videos are uploaded by you for performance analysis purposes.
- Analysis Purpose: We process videos solely to provide feedback on technique.
- No Disclosure: We do not share viewing history with third parties for marketing.
IV. How We Share Your Information
- No Sale of Data: We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your video content or personal info.
- Service Providers: We share data with Backblaze (Storage), Google (AI Processing), Auth0 (Security), and Stripe/Apple/Google (Payments).
- Legal Requirements: We share data only if compelled by a valid court order.
V. Data Retention & Deletion
- User Control: You may delete videos or athlete profiles at any time within the app.
- Account Termination: Full deletion occurs within 30 days of a verified request.
- Grace Period: Data is held for 30 days after cancellation to allow for resubscription.
VI. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
- Age 13 Limit: Users must be 13+ to create an account. Under 13s are strictly prohibited from direct account creation.
- Parental Control: Profiles for athletes under 13 must be created and managed by a parent (18+).
- Private by Default: Minor profiles are never visible to other users.
VII. Your Rights & State Laws
We respect your rights under the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, and CTDPA. You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data. California residents under 18 are protected under the Age-Appropriate Design Code (AADC).
